Corporate Identity
How a company is recognized is an important component of its brand – its promise to customers, employees and many other audiences.
At Sauer-Danfoss, corporate identity refers to our logo, positioning statement (What Really Matters Is Inside®), use of colors, typefaces and other design factors related to the look and feel of the brand. Uniformity is vital to consistent communication and protection of company identity.
The Sauer-Danfoss logo consists of three components: The “S” which dates back to Sauer and the names Sauer and Danfoss. With the merger of companies, Danfoss Fluid Power brought its corporate red color, Sauer its corporate blue. The logo visually identifies the company in virtually all forms of communication in all media.
Beyond the logo, more detailed information on graphics guidelines is available in our Corporate Identity Manual. As it states, “The purpose of this manual is to ensure that the Sauer-Danfoss brand is perceived uniformly across all markets, regardless of cultural and technical differences. The manual is intended to serve as an easy-to-use daily tool for Sauer-Danfoss employees and Sauer-Danfoss partners working with communication and marketing. The manual is a working paper, which will be subject to changes from time to time. When referring to this manual, please make sure to use the latest version, which may be requested from a press contact.”
