Main Products/Focus:

Propel, Valves and Gear products are the main areas of the manufacturing business here to serve internal or OEM customers throughout the world with either complete hydraulic systems or parts for assembly outside of Slovakia. The plant hosts four divisions including Propel, Controls - Valves, Work Functions – Gear Products, and Sales and Marketing. The latest member of the local hotel structure is the Financial Shared Service Center (FSSC).

Community Highlights:

Povazská Bystrica is a small city probably best known for its history with the Povazske strojarne (PS), which was the major employer in the town. With about 12 thousand employees, the engineering plant ranked many years ago among the largest engineering companies in the Eastern Bloc. The town still attracts many of visitors with its beautiful countryside and rural resorts. The two majestically towering Manin hills and the river Vah separating the town on the right from Javorniky Mountains, complete the whole picture of Povazská Bystrica.
