Marc Weston joins Sauer-Danfoss as Executive Vice President and CMO

AMES, Iowa, U.S.A., April 8, 2010 – Sauer-Danfoss Inc. (NYSE:SHS) Sauer-Danfoss announces that Marc Weston has been appointed Executive Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer, effective April 5, 2010. Weston will work from the Ames, Iowa, location and is replacing Tim Hanson, who has been serving as interim Executive Vice President and CMO and will retire later this year. Weston comes from a position as Vice President, Strategic Planning with The Timken Company, a manufacturer of power transmission components and specialty steels headquartered in Canton, Ohio, USA.

Weston has more than 18 years of experience from a range of key leadership positions in marketing, operations and strategic management within The Timken Company in the U.S., Europe and Asia, including a position as Vice President Automotive Asia & President Japan/Korea in Tokyo, Japan. He brings to Sauer-Danfoss a deep understanding of identifying growth opportunities and building organizations capable of capturing growth in multiple regions and markets around the world.
