Steering
In the forklift industry, tight turns and operator fatigue are commonplace. To address this reality, Sauer-Danfoss has designed an EFU (Electronic Follow Up) steering sensor.

The EFU steering sensor allows the steering wheel to always be synchronized with the steered wheels. The operator always knows the position of the steered wheels without actually looking back at the wheels themselves. Since the operator knows where steered wheels are positioned, there’s no random turning to direct the machine. This also reduces needed oil flow.
Sauer-Danfoss also offers a wide range of SCUs (Steering Control Units) to fit your exact application. Therefore, we can match only what the system needs – reducing excess oil flow and resulting engine loading.
