Our hydraulic fan drives provide engine cooling on demand – spinning the cooling fan only as much as it’s needed. Electric motor fan drives provide a similar benefit. Another example is use of Sauer-Danfoss variable displacement pumps and motors. When coupled with PLUS+1™ microcontrollers, the pump and motor are engaged only to perform the work at hand, then going into “destroked” mode when no hydraulic power is needed.
