OSPD & OSPQ

Make light work of a heavy steering challenge. On larger agricultural and construction vehicles, our dual displacement steering units secure high-level safety.
OSPD
The two gear wheel sets of this steering unit work simultaneously under normal operating conditions. But, should a pump fail, the ability to steer with just one gear wheel means even the heaviest vehicles can be steered manually.
OSPQ
Built-in flow amplification gives proportional oil flow in relation to steering wheel speed. At a steering wheel speed less than 10 rev/min or if a pump fails, only the gear wheel determines the displacement. At normal or higher steering wheel speeds, oil is led to the steering cylinder via the amplification valve.

Application Opportunities
It takes a steady hand to secure precise, consistent steering on large tractors, combine harvesters, telehandlers and backhoe loaders.
Our OPSD and OSPQ load-sensing steering units give you just that – with dual displacements that allow manual steering without the need for an emergency pump. Great efficiency at lower system cost.
