Product Electrical Installation (PEI)

A product electrical installation document is required for three of the four levels of PLUS+1™ compliance. The three levels that require this document are: PLUS+1 Parts, PLUS+1 CAN Connect, and PLUS+1 CAN Service. This document is not required for PLUS+1 programmable hardware. The product electrical installation document is contained in the HardWare Description (HWD) file. The goal of the HWD file is to deliver to the user all of the information that is needed to successfully interface the PLUS+1 compliant device to PLUS+1 hardware.
