When installing an older version of GUIDE Service Tool, the program will not automatically uninstall the current version (4.x and later).

Work-Around

The current version of GUIDE Service Tool must be manually uninstalled.
This is done by using Add/Remove Programs in the Windows Control Panel.

Solution

In the future this will enable a user to have multiple installations of different GUIDE versions

In Windows Vista, when using the ClearType effect option, some text may appear clipped.

Work-Around

Disable ClearType effect when working in the Service Tool

Solution

This will be fixed in version 4.1.0
